Rich Mangicaro currently resides in Los Angeles, California working as the percussionist/vocalist for Glenn Frey & Joe Walsh of the Eagles.  Previously for 19 years, he had been the Director of Artist Relations/Music Education for the Paiste Cymbal Company.  Rich was also the Director of Content for NovaTunes, a global, internet music company based in Venice Beach, California.  
 
As a member of the Glenn Frey/Joe Walsh Band, Rich has performed at some of the top venues across the United States and abroad.  Glenn Frey, the founding member of the Eagles and inducted in both the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame and the Songwriter's Hall Of Fame, has written some of the most memorable songs in rock's history.  When he's not out with the Eagles, he performs regularly with his own band, which he often co-headlines with Joe Walsh.  Rich has been Glenn's percussionist and background vocalist for 10 years.
 
In Los Angeles, Rich remains an active recording and performing artist working with the Bisquera Brothers, Venice, John Vester, Rich Ferguson, Chris Pierce, Kathrin Shorr, Jenni Alpert and others. Recordings featuring Rich include releases from John Vester, Jenni Alpert, Christine Rosander, actor Jeff Bridges, Jonathan Clark and Kid Rock vocalist-Laura Creamer.  Bisquera Brothers, the project he shares with drum brother Curt Bisquera, are currently working on a new album, to be released later in 2008.
 
As one of the directors at NovaTunes, Rich worked with such internationally known artists such as Jackson Browne, Leon Russell, Bernard Fowler (vocalist-Rolling Stones), Brian Ray (guitarist-Paul McCartney), Graham Nash, Julia Fordham and many up & coming artists.  He managed artist content, authored artist and website text and produced and directed video features.  Also a respected educator and published author, Rich has written feature articles for various music trades including Modern Drummer, Drumhead, Rhythm UK and Percussive Notes.  A workshop he created entitled “Inside The Player’s Studio” focuses on music business topics, product endorsements, the current state of music sales, artist development and internet promotion.  He continues to conduct his workshop at various music schools across the country, write articles for various trades and perform and record, both nationally and abroad.
