A 90-minute workshop broken into 3 segments - created and conducted by Rich Mangicaro Part One: Artist/Product Endorsements •How & when to recognize the time in your career to pursue an endorsement •How to assemble a professional promotion package •How to approach a manufacturer and proper follow up • How best to represent yourself as a professional artist Part Two: Current Record Industry Status • Decline of the old model; why it’s failing • How the new model looks • The digital music company • Promoting yourself in the digital age Part Three: “Inside The Player’s Studio” Various guest artists are invited to participate in a Q & A with host and author Rich Mangicaro, in a TV talk-show type format. We’ll review the artist’s career, their approach to making a living as a musician and share stories, giving the audience a rare, personal insight into the world of the professional musician. Artists appear, pending their schedules & the location of the workshop.
